Ignition properties (easy identification method) Natural rubber

  • It burns in the flame and continues to burn after the flame is removed.
  • The orange flame is yellowish and makes a little noise
  • Black smoke with carbon particles
  • It does not drip in the flame
  • Gives the smell of burnt rubber

Decent information's

Because the properties and characteristics of isoprene rubber are very similar to natural rubber, in many cases it can replace natural rubber and it is also called synthetic natural rubber. Due to this closeness in properties and characteristics and formulations, we also put these two together and in a group in the study of tires.

Production resources

For this tire, it is better to introduce its natural resources first. Natural rubber is found in more than 200 different plant species, but only a few, such as the Hevea Brasiliensis tree found in Brazil, India, Malaysia and Malaya, South and Southeast Asia, and West Africa, as well as the gutta-percha tree. Gutta-Percha, grown in Thailand, Taiwan and northern Australia, is commercially used and sources more than 99% of the world's natural rubber. Other plant sources of this rubber include the Panamanian rubber tree (Castilla Elastica) and the fig rubber (Ficus Elastica). Natural rubber has a molecular weight of 100,000 to 1,000,000 and contains 5% dry matter containing proteins, fatty acids, resins and minerals such as salt.
